Beyond the Vet Clinic is a specialist home-visit veterinary service providing gentle, holistic pain management and mobility support for dogs and cats across the Midlands. Led by Dr Tara Card, an RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon with advanced training in pain management, veterinary acupuncture and laser therapy, the service is particularly focused on older pets and those living with arthritis, chronic pain, mobility problems, spinal and nerve pain, soft-tissue injuries or recovering from surgery. Treatments include veterinary acupuncture and advanced laser therapy, delivered in the comfort and familiarity of the pet’s own home. This avoids stressful journeys and clinic visits and allows treatment to take place where pets are often at their most relaxed. Beyond the Vet Clinic works alongside the pet’s primary veterinary practice rather than replacing it. Patients are seen by veterinary referral, allowing complementary therapies to be incorporated into an existing medical or pain-management plan. The aim is simple: to reduce pain, improve mobility, support healing and help pets enjoy a happier, more comfortable quality of life for as long as possible.
