Warwick & Leamington connects local residents with independent businesses through exclusive offers, Free Prize Draws, community events, news, fundraisers, photos, and genuine local reviews.
Part one
For local residents
Everything you can discover, claim and take part in as a resident — free to join, no purchase ever required.
Claiming offers
Independent businesses on the platform post exclusive offers for local residents — discounts, free items, and special deals you won't find anywhere else.
Browse offers in the app or on the website.
Tap 'Claim this offer' to generate a unique QR code. You have 30 minutes to show it to staff.
The business scans your code to redeem it. Alternatively, ask staff to enter their daily PIN if scanning isn't available.
Points are added to your account automatically on redemption.
Some offers are marked Locals only — these are reserved for Verified Local residents (see below).
Verified Local status
Verified Locals are residents with a CV postcode (Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, and surrounding areas). Verification happens automatically when you register — just enter your postcode during sign-up.
Verified Locals get access to exclusive locals-only offers and earn the Verified Local badge on their account.
Points
You earn points every time you redeem an offer. Points are added to your account automatically — no manual steps needed.
Each offer specifies how many points it awards (typically 10 points per redemption). Check the offer details to see the points value before you claim.
Rewards and point redemption are coming soon.
Reviews and verified visits
Any signed-in resident can leave a star rating (1–5) for any business, with an optional short comment (up to 140 characters).
Verified visit — reviews from residents who have redeemed at least one offer at that business are marked with a ✓ Verified visit badge. This proves the reviewer has actually visited, making their opinion more meaningful.
How moderation works: Star ratings count immediately. Review text is checked by our team before it appears publicly. Once your first review text is approved, future comments will appear straight away.
We reserve the right to remove review text or entire reviews that are abusive, defamatory, or submitted in bad faith.
Events and local news
Any signed-in resident can submit community events and local news articles for publication.
Submit your event or article via the website.
Our editors review submissions and approve or decline within a short time.
Approved content appears on the events and news pages for the whole community.
Business owners posting events for their own business are approved automatically.
Local fundraisers
Verified Locals can post a link to their own fundraiser — JustGiving, GoFundMe, or similar — along with a photo, brief description, and the town it's for, so the whole community can find local fundraising efforts in one place.
Post your fundraiser with a title, description, photo, town, and a clear end date.
Our team reviews it before it goes live, the same as events and news.
Once approved, it appears on the fundraisers board until the end date passes.
Fundraisers need a defined end date — if you're raising money on an ongoing basis with no end in sight, share it as a news story instead.
Community Photos
Any signed-in resident can share a photo of Warwick, Leamington Spa or Kenilworth — pick the town it was taken in, add an optional caption, and confirm you're happy for us to feature it.
Submit a photo with its town and an optional caption.
Our team reviews it before it appears in the public gallery.
Each month, one photo is chosen as Photo of the Month — recognition only, there's no prize.
Only Verified Local submitters are eligible to be picked as Photo of the Month, so it's worth verifying your postcode first. Made a mistake with a submission? There's no edit option — just delete it and share it again.
Food support directory
A directory of local food banks, donation points and distribution points across the area — where to donate food, and where to get help if you need it.
Browse the directory by town and type (donation or distribution), as a list or on a map.
Know a point that's missing? Any signed-in resident can submit one.

Groups & clubs
A directory of local recurring clubs, classes and support groups — sports and fitness, hobbies, faith and community, youth and family, and more.
Browse by category and town, as a list or on a map.

Free Prize Draws
Local businesses sponsor prize draws for residents. Opt in once — in your account settings or at sign-up — and you're automatically entered into every prize draw that's currently running, with no per-draw "enter" click needed.
Draws happen on a fixed weekly or monthly cycle, never daily or ad-hoc.
A winner is picked at random. We don't announce who — check your prize draws page after the weekly email to find out.
If you've won, claim your prize before the window closes: 7 days for weekly draws, 1 month for monthly ones.
If a prize goes unclaimed, some prize draws roll it over into the next draw instead of leaving it unawarded — the prize draw's own page explains whether that applies and how.
Entry is always free — no payment or purchase is ever needed to enter or to win.
Part two
For local businesses
How to get listed, post offers and jobs, and sponsor a Free Prize Draw to reach residents across Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth.
Getting listed
Local independent businesses can claim an existing listing or add a new one to the directory, free of charge.
Find your business in the directory, or submit it if it's not listed yet.
Click 'Claim this listing' and submit a short verification message (an Instagram handle, phone number, or anything that helps us confirm).
Our team verifies ownership — we'll contact you via your socials or the details you provided.
Once approved, the listing is linked to your account and your dashboard unlocks.

Posting offers
Once your listing is claimed, post exclusive offers for residents directly from your dashboard — discounts, free items, or any deal you'd like to run.
Create an offer with a title, discount details, an optional cover image, and how long it runs.
Choose whether it's open to everyone or marked Locals only, for Verified Local residents.
Residents claim it as a QR code. Scan it to redeem — or enter your business's daily PIN if scanning isn't practical.
Each redemption is single-use and tracked automatically, so there's no manual bookkeeping.
Posting a job
Once your listing is claimed, advertise vacancies directly from your dashboard — no separate job board account needed.
Create a posting with a title, description, employment type, and optional salary and closing date.
Tell candidates how to apply — a link to your own application form, or an email address.
Your posting goes live immediately and appears on your business profile and the Jobs page.
Close the listing from your dashboard once the role is filled.
Free plan businesses can have one active job posting at a time — Premium is uncapped.
Sponsoring a prize draw
Sponsor a Free Prize Draw to put your business in front of every resident on the platform — entry is free for residents and there's no purchase necessary, so it isn't a lottery and needs no Gambling Commission licence.
Set it up from your dashboard: title, description, prize value, entry dates, and whether it's a one-off or a recurring weekly/monthly draw.
Choose what happens if a prize goes unclaimed — forfeit it, or roll it over into the next draw.
Submit it for approval — our team reviews every draw before it goes live, the same as offers and events.
Once approved, residents are entered automatically and winners are drawn on your chosen schedule. We'll be in touch to help arrange the prize handover.
Your dashboard
One dashboard covers everything once you're claimed or listed:
Edit your profile — description, logo, up to 5 photos, categories, and social links.
Manage your offers, job postings, and any prize draws you're sponsoring.
View your daily redemption PIN, for staff to enter when scanning a QR code isn't practical.
