Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person.

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be 16 or over to create an account.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period.

Verified Local status is granted to residents who register with a CV-area postcode, verified via Postcodes.io.

It unlocks locals-only offers. It's for genuine local residents — using a false address to obtain Verified Local status is a breach of these terms and may result in account closure.

Offers are set by individual businesses. We don't guarantee their availability or value.

QR codes and PINs are single-use and expire after 30 minutes / at midnight respectively. Do not share them.

Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. We may adjust point values or the redemption scheme with reasonable notice.

Fraudulent claiming — including sharing QR codes, using false accounts, or exploiting system errors — will result in points being removed and your account closed.

Free Prize Draws are sponsored by individual businesses and offered to residents at no cost. Entry is free and automatic for opted-in, registered users — no payment, purchase or "premium rate" action of any kind is required to enter or to win, and there is no charge to sign up to the platform or to opt in. Because entry requires no payment, Free Prize Draws are "free draws" as defined by the Gambling Act 2005 and do not constitute a lottery — they are exempt from Gambling Commission licensing and regulation on that basis.

You can opt in or out of Free Prize Draws at any time from your account page. Opting out simply stops future entries — it doesn't withdraw you from a draw you've already been entered into.

Winners are selected at random by an automated process on the schedule stated for each draw (weekly or monthly). Winning entries must be claimed within the stated claim window; unclaimed prizes are forfeited or rolled over as described on the relevant draw's page. There is no cash alternative unless the sponsor states otherwise.

Prizes are provided and fulfilled by the sponsoring business, not by Warwick & Leamington. We're not responsible for the quality, availability or delivery of a prize — any issue with a prize should be raised directly with the sponsoring business.

We may disqualify entrants who breach these terms (including holding multiple accounts) and may cancel or amend a draw where necessary, for example if a sponsor withdraws. Our decisions on eligibility and winner selection are final.

If you win, you can choose whether your first name is shown on our public winners page — this consent is asked for when you claim your prize and is entirely optional.

Business listings must accurately represent a real, operating business. You may only claim a listing for a business you own or are authorised to represent.

Offers must be genuine — you are responsible for honouring them when presented by users.

If you sponsor a Free Prize Draw, you're responsible for providing and fulfilling the prize as described, and for arranging collection or delivery directly with the winner once we put you in touch.

We reserve the right to remove listings, offers or business owners that are misleading, spammy, or bring the platform into disrepute.

Business profile information (name, address, description, photos) will be displayed publicly.

News articles, events, fundraisers, community photos and business listings you submit must be accurate, local and community-relevant. Most submissions are reviewed by our team before going live.

Photos and images you upload anywhere on the platform must be your own, or you must otherwise have the right to use them. Don't upload anything illegal, offensive, defamatory, misleading, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's copyright or privacy.

By submitting content or images, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and feature them on the platform, our app, and our social media, with credit where applicable. You retain ownership.

We may remove any content or image, and suspend or close accounts, that breaches these terms.

We may edit submissions for clarity, length and house style.

Don't use the platform to spam, scrape data, or promote businesses you have no legitimate connection to.

Don't attempt to access other users' accounts or exploit technical vulnerabilities.

Don't use automated tools to create accounts or claim offers at scale.

The platform is provided free of charge on an "as is" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

We're not responsible for the quality, accuracy or availability of offers, events or news posted by businesses or community members.

We're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, except where required by law.
